We are integrating real-time call event notifications from our clients’ Mitel systems into our application using the Mitel Notification API.
With our account_id (130424663) we have successfully obtained an access token, created a client, and created a subscription.
Our current challenge is testing the webhook notifications. As our clients’ systems are not directly accessible for development testing, and we lack a dedicated test environment, we cannot simulate calls and verify webhook delivery.
Could you please confirm:
- Is using the Notification API with webhooks the correct approach for receiving real-time call events from client Mitel systems?
- What is the recommended method for setting up a development/testing environment to test webhook notifications when integrating with client systems?
Any guidance on validating our progress and testing strategy for this scenario would be greatly appreciated.
